Formula 1

With only 7 racers present, we could only have 2 in a race, now that we need 5 marshals. With this in mind, each driver had 2 heats with best single heat to count in to move up finals. Graham top qualified with 31.45, half a lap more than he did at the area round. Sandy was second 1/3rd of a lap down. The first final was mike and bob, with mike completing all 3 minutes to record 27. Bob suffering from lack of grip scored a high 22, his worst run of the night. The E final saw Mike storm to his first 30 on the new track this left Ralph in the dust. Eddie proved too much competition for Mike in the D recording a 31 to Mike’s 26.  Chris recorded a 31.32 in the C to Eddies 29.46 on Red lane to meet Sandy in the B. Chris again advanced with another 31 to meet Graham in the A. A few offs for Chris gave Graham a lap lead and victory after 3 minutes.
