7 racers turned out the day after the area round for the nights racing, Chris A and James arrived along with the 5 from the previous weeks racing.

Class 1—1/32nd F1

After racing the cars for the area round the day before, it would be interesting to see if drivers could match their scores. With each driver getting two heats, Graham again top qualified with 28.31 on his favoured yellow lane, 3/4 a lap up on Chris T. Brian was the only other driver to do 27 and joined them in the A Final.  Chris A won the B Final by about half a lap in front of Malcolm. Dave in his favourite class of F1! again lent a car of Brian, to beat James, racing F1 for the first time) Graham and Chris T were side by side for the first 2 minutes of the A final, until Chris T fell off to leave Graham to win by 9 foot. Brian had a few offs towards the end trying to catch Chris T for second, but meant that Chris A sneaked past to finish 3rd.

Class 2—1/24th Saloon

With a bit more grip down after the area round, times would hopefully improve on last week. Chris T beat Chris A in qualifying by 1 part, and was joined by Brian. the only 3 drivers to break the 10 lap barrier (mainly because everyone else fell off) Dave won the B final having qualified last, to beat Malcolm and Graham in a close fought race, where each were lead the race at one time. Brian stormed off to record 30 in segment 1 of the A group to lead Chris T by 22 foot. Chris A could not match his qualifying time to only record 28, leaving him off the pace to catch the time recorded by Dave. All 3 drivers recorded 30's in segment 2, leaving Chris T and Brian on target to beat Dave with Chris A just over a lap down. Segment 3 saw Chris A drop into the wrong lane at the end of the segment leaving him with a bent axle, meaning he couldn’t carry on. He managed to only record 2 laps in segment 4 to leave him 7th. Chris T slowly pulled away from Brian (now on his slower side of the track) to win by 2 laps, Brian did enough to record 30 in each run to beat Dave’s score.
