The Racing

Slot car racing as you will find out is a very skilful hobby. It can be competitive with close racing, but above all, you need to remember it is just a bit of fun. You don't have to be the "Schumacher of Slot" to enjoy slot racing , you can enjoyment from racing at the level that you feel most confident.

Racing is organised every Monday night with guaranteed racing. Club championships are run throughout the year.

At Dudley we race 1/24th and 1/32nd cars, the race calendar can be found on the results and tables page

Class 1 Format

Each driver has 2 heats best 1 to count into move up finals with separate finals for the alternative class.

Championship will be decided on best over a 12 month basis with best 8 from 12 rounds, with the alternate class (1/24th Falcon) been best 12 out of 17 weeks

Class 2 Format

All 1/24th Falcon powered

Each driver completes a 1 min qualifying to put people into groups. (All laps to count to seed)

Then into 4*3min segmented, win from any group

Championship will be decided over the best 12 out of 16 weeks (normally every 4 months)
